“What did you like in our summer school?”
– There was an amazing amount of content and knowledge I received. I loved the opportunity to create scientific connections in such an intimate setting, especially the opportunity for casual conversations with professors.
“What did you like in our summer school?”
– The Summer School met my expectations: Learning something new about system vision science, meeting a bunch of nice and interesting peers, meaningfully interacting with some senior researchers, and having a lot of fun.
“What did you like in our summer school?”
– The openness of everyone, i.e. an atmosphere in which questions were encouraged. The true curiosity and willingness to explain their own ideas by the senior scientists. The great atmosphere. The coherent syllabus which allowed learning in depth.
“What did you like in our summer school?”
– I liked the way that the topics covered in the first part on encoding were used to explain cognitive psychology findings such a pop-our search etc. I also liked how Li Zhaoping gave many examples for these effects to make sure we all understood how they are connected to the wiring and functionality of V1. She made an effort to get to know everyone and made the lectures interactive, which I appreciate a lot. The programming exercises and quizzes were a really nice touch as well.
